OUR EVERYDAY LIVES ARE AFFECTED BY GLOBAL CONNECTIONS

One of Australia’s connections is trade. Trade is when one country gives another country resources or money in return for some resources that this country needs.

Another one of Australia’s global connections is foreign aid. When one country foreign aid’s another country, they give the other country resources that they need for free.

HOW TRADE AFFECTS MY LIFE

• What I wear is affected by trade; most of my clothes are from China but I live in Australia
• What I eat is affected by trade; for dinner I ate rice from Thailand but , once again, I live in Australia

HOW FOREIGN AID AFFECTS MY LIFE

• If I go on a holiday to Indonesia I would see Australian products there because we give them those products when they are in need.
• If Australia ever needs help other countries would foreign aid us in return that we foreign aid them when they need our help.

THE ADVANTAGES OF TRADE AND FOREIGN AID

• We get a variety of culture food and language in our country
• We get better relationships with other countries and have free trade agreements.
