What if the home does not appraise for the amount? 

Seller Choices #1 of 3

  • Adjust the listing price to reflect the apprased amount.

Seller Choices #2 or 3

  • Acertain if the buyer is willing to meet somewhere in the middle between the appraised amount and the amount offered.

Seller Choices #3 of 3

  • Cancel the transaction with the approval of all parties.

If a property does not appraise for offering amount 

Buyer Choices #1 of 3

  • If the home you are buying appraises for more than you offered - you are Golden - Hug your Agent. Seller is not privy to the appraisal report unless concent granted by all parties!

Buyer Choices #2 of 3

  • You can choose to meet somewhere in between with mutual agreement of the home seller.

  • You can inject the difference between the apprasial amount and the amount you offered in cash.
