The definition of projectile

A projectile is an object which the only force that does something to it is gravity

EXAMPLES OF PROJECTILES

• A baseball that has been pitched , batted, or thrown
• A Bus driven off an uncompleted bridge
• A runner in mid stride ( since they momentarily lose contact with the ground)
