SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

"Santa Claus is Coming to Town" was written by John Frederick Coots and Haven Gillespie. It was aired first on Eddie Cantor's radio show in 1934. It first became popular 40 years after its release.

"Santa Claus is coming to Town" was written because Haven Gillispie wanted to write a kids Christmas song, and John Frederick Coots agreed on this idea. Gillespie and Coots made millions off there hit song.
