PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Jack O'Lantern

I decorate your house one time each year

Waiting for that ghostly night on the final day of October,

To watch as princesses, ghosts, pirates, and vampires

Dash to your front door, seeking sugary treats

Some spook at my carved-out face while

The candle glows like an ember inside of me

Displaying my jagged teeth and citrine eyes

The frightful children rush back to the streets

I sit as the night creeps by

But I feel an ominous chill in the air

My candle's flame is gone as quickly as candy in a child's hand

My time will come to end soon

I will start to shrivel and my face will wrinkle

My job has been fulfilled for fall

Snowmen and Santa will shortly take my place
