"Interaction design" extends the term “interface design,” which describes the design of graphic and physical interfaces, by encompassing other considerations, such as how the designed thing fits into communities, work environments, etc.
Interface design - designing the behavior at the point of where computer and human meet.
Interface designers develop the input and output in the conversations you have with computers.
Interaction design- the larger process of understanding user goals and developing digital products, service, environments, systems and services that help users reach those goals.
Interaction designers not just how is it structured or how it looks but do people really want this? will they use this? how will they use it?
