Alpha particle: 2 protons and 2 neutrons emitted from a nucleus.

Beta Particle: is an electron emitted from the nucleus during some kind of radioactive decay.

Fission: When splitting into two or more parts apart.

Fusion: Fusion is combining two or more things together into one

Gamma: penetrating electromagnetic radiation of a kind arising from the radioactive decay of atomic nuclei.

half-life: The time taken for the radioactivity of a specified isotope to fall to half its original value.

Positron: A subatomic particle with the same mass as an electron and a numerically equal but positive charge.

Radioactivity: The emission of ionizing radiation or particle caused by the spontaneous disintegration of atomic nucle.
