COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

REASONS

• Old people struggle with shoveling
• Most old people have back problems
• Shoveling snow for my neighbors has always lifted their spirits
• We are in better shape to shovel

WHAT WE NEED

• All we need is for each person to bring a shovel
• If someone doesn't have a shovel, but still wants to help, they can borrow one

BATTLE PLAN

• Everyone would meet at the library
• We will go to heavily old people populated areas
• We'd have to do it early, because old people always get things done early
• We will do it on a day where it snowed heavily

HOW WE WILL GROW

• We would start a group on Facebook
• The people who join would be the volunteers.
• The people can request us to shovel their block over our page
• We would do it at either 6am or 4:30pm, or, if possible, during civics class
• The volunteers would get notified when we tagged them in a post an hour before we started
• We would go to houses that were asked over Facebook first, and then go to places we know old people live if we have time
