Christian and Muslims.

Creation Story

Creation Story From the Bible Beliefs.

  • God created the world and living things.
  • God added different things throughout the days.
  • Made the first humans.Adam and Eve.Eve made from Adam.
  • The first humans ate a forbidden fruit and caused God to close the gates to the garden
  • Snake made Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit.

Purpose of the Christian Creation Story

According to the text" Christians
use the story of 'the fall' to explain why suffering and death have entered the world."Suffering and death were the consequence for Adam and Eve eating the Forbidden fruit.

The Christian Story of Creation Literary devices.

I think that the reason of the story is to inform the humans that we were put on this earth to take care of it as a result of our previous actions.(Eating the forbidden fruit.)

Basic Beliefs from the Muslum Creation Story

Basic Beliefs

  • God also made the world and all living things along with many other things.
  • Adam made from dirt by the angels and God. Eve made from Adam.
  • God named the creatures.
  • Angel told the two humans to eat the forbidden fruit.
  • Kicked out of paradise and sent to earth.

Purpose of the Muslim Creation story.

The passage stats"And people, the Qur'an teaches, should serve God and obey his will. For those who submit to
the will of God will be saved, and taken to live for ever in Paradise."This says that even though Adam and Eves action got all humans banished from the paradise we can still go there by submitting to the god.

Figurative Structure found in the Muslim Story of Creation

In the story you can see it uses repetition in one of it's sentences. "God's world is a good world, and when
people obey or submit to God then life is good." You can see the repetition when it repeats world.

Similarities in the Two Stories.

Similarities

  • How God created everything.Including Adam and Eve.
  • He told Adam and Eve to not eat the the forbidden fruit, but they did.
  • There was a thing that influenced the two humans to eat the fruit.
  • They were banished and we need to take care of the Earth.

Differences

  • Who told Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.
  • Who named the living things in the world.
  • In the Qur'an God had angels.
