Wicked, tells the story of two unlikely friends, Glinda the Good Witch, and Elphaba, more commonly known as the Wicked Witch of the West. Wicked tells Elphaba’s side of the story, closely following her from birth until college. The story tells of her quest to talk to the wizard to receive the thing she most wants-- normality-- just as Dorothy would years later. This is a classic tale of friendship and trust paired with paying homage the the original story of the Wizard of Oz.
