Domestic Violence on College Campuses

PROBLEM & WHY IT MATTERS TO WOMAN & THEIR COMMUNITIES:

• Violent or aggressive behavior towards a spouse or partner.
• Nearly one and every four woman college have gotten raped or sexually abused.
• Numbers are high but in reality are higher because a lot of woman don't report their cases.
• Woman are trying to fight for woman to be comfortable enough to speak up and not be afraid of what society has to say

WHERE IS THIS A PROBLEM AND WHO DOES IT AFFECT?

• It affects 1 and 4 woman on college campuses
• In the USA only 31% of woman have reported their cases.
• In households, colleges, universities, workplace etc.
• 13% of college women report they were forced to have sex by a dating partner
