THE DIGNITY OF OTHERS

• Human life and Dignity Of The Catholic Church states that human life is important and that the dignity of the human person is the deep rooted glue of a custom vision for society. This belief is the foundation of all the principles of our social teaching. In our society, human life is under attack from abortion and euthanasia. The value of human life is being threatened by cloning, embryonic stem cell research, and the use of the death penalty. The purposful targeting of civilians in war or terrorist attacks is always wrong. Catholic teaching also calls on us to work to avoid war. Nations must protect the right to life by finding increasingly effective ways to prevent conflicts and resolve them by peaceful means. We believe that every person is precious, that people are more important than things, and that the measure of every institution is whether it threatens or enhanses the life and dignity of the human person.

• Everyone, no matter thier religion, race, gender or nationality, have rights just simply by being human. They include the right to live, and have protection throughout of the law and the freedom of speech, and religion. So this explains why people have to be respected by their dignity or just be respected period. The strength of the universal declaration lies not so much in following through on these rights but in its role as a teacher that shapes ideals and molds chanting or charming toward the common good. Human rights pillow our obligations toward one another and give dignity to how we work, worship, interact with our communities and take care of our families. , apparently human rights complete our civic and democratic our legal or moral obligation . Rights without relationships and responsibilities can only go so far but they can't do every thing so that's why we need to respect the rights of others
