THESIS STATEMENT

  • My opinion is that everybody should read this book
  • This book isn't about a "mocking bird" it's more then that
  • I think to kill a mocking bird is mostly about what happens in life.

SCOUT

  • Appearance- she has short hair , she wears overalls
  • My inference-she's a tom boy.
  • Character says-"I think there's just one kind of folks"
  • My inference- she's country
  • Character thoughts- a lot of people are different

(2) SCOUT

  • My inference- she looks at people in different ways
  • Reactions of other characters- Jem little sister
  • My inference- her and Jem fight

JEM

  • Appearance-his a young boy
  • My inference-he makes a lot of mistakes
  • Character says "our lives can change so fast"
  • My inference-something happened in the past
  • Characters thoughts- you always have to over come fear

(2) JEM

  • My inference- his a strong person , and he works on what he wants
  • Reactions of other characters-scout big brother
  • My inference- they fight

DILL

  • Appearance-little boy
  • My inference-his very young
  • Character says-"goin on seven"
  • My inference-his country & his six about to turn seven
  • Character thoughts-he wants to make friends

  • My inference-his nice
  • Reactions of other characters-scout wants to know stuff about him
  • My inference-they just meet

ATTICUS

  • Appearance-tall middle aged man & wears glasses
  • My inference-his just a normal man.
  • What the character says - "cheating a black man ten. Times worse than cheating a white"
  • My inference -he thinks white men are stronger & better then black.
  • Characters thoughts- he worries and is afraid of thinks.

(2)ATTICUS

  • My inference-he understands a lot
  • Reactions of other characters-Jem is always watching out for him
  • My inference-there friends

WHY ARE INFERENCES IMPORTANT ?

  • Because you will understand the story better.
