  • The Japanese like chicken, for they eat KFC on Christmas.

  • Most US holidays are for fun; Japanese holidays are usually very spiritual.
  • Japan is a large archipelago, and it is off the coast of China.

  • They eat KFC as the main course whereas they eat cake as desert.
  • They'll eat other thing on different days while the Christmas menu mostly the same.

Christmas in Japan

  • As if he were Santa, Hoteiosho gives kids presents.
  • If it's celebrated at all, Christmas is more political in Japan than religious.

Religion

  • So that they stay loyal to religion, some Japanese don't celebrate Christmas at all.
  • Most don't celebrate religiously because the overwhelming population of Japan is Buddhist.

Holidays

  • Where Japan has more spiritual holidays, the US has more political holidays.
  • Most women wear kimonos while celebrating spiritual holidays.
