What is the one core class that all sophomores complain about? Let me give you a hint- it's the only AP core class available to all sophomores.

WHAT IS THE ISSUE?

All of the WHAP teachers are coaches. Coaches are required to teach classes for six periods of the day unless they teach a core class where this number is five classes.

Either this policy should be changed or under-qualified coaches should not teach every available class of an AP course- especially WHAP.

We understand that this would be an expensive policy change, but we feel it should occur because...

WHY:

• Education is always an investment worth making
• The hiring of these coaches in turn favors the athletes of a school
• AP averages of the school would rise dramatically
• The stressed caused by unorganized teachers would decrease
• Students won't spend summers taking these courses
