  • In an area of Santiago, is called tchilli which means snowy or cold.
  • Northern beaches are popular for their sunny weather and warmer water.

  • The empanadas is a popular turnover-type snack that Chileans like to eat.
  • Chileans eat a main meal at midday and a lighter meal between 8 and 10 p.m.
  • You will find many types of fish offered in all styles in Chile.
  • Dishes are prepared with fish, seafood, chicken, beef, beans, potatoes, eggs, and corn
  • Manjar, made by boiling an unopened can of sweetened condensed milk for hours
