How could this energy source be used?
Nuclear energy is used in medicine for radiation.
Nuclear energy can produce heat that makes seawater drinkable.
It could also be used to make hydrogen that can be used for many things.

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF ITS CURRENT USE?

  • Radiation
  • Energy
  • Heat

What effect does it have on the environment?
Nuclear energy has no negative effect on the environment. It uses a small amount of land, produces no emissions or greenhouse gases, and isolates it's waste.

Is this technology accepted today? Why or why not.
It is accepted because it has a very small negative effect on the environment.
