- Anglicization of O’hUgin
- Irish word meaning Viking
- Sept or clan of southern UiNiells
- Originated in Meath and Westmeath
- Migrated to Connacht, mostly Sligo and Mayo
- Loyal to Gaelic culture and religion, lost lands in Sligo , 1654.
- Do we have Viking blood?
- Photo- where Vikings was filmed in the Wicklow Mtns, south of Dublin.
