  • Divide the skills so each person has one skill as their main focus.
  • Give specific examples of the skills used.
  • Come back together and share/add to your notes.

Concentric Circles

  • Draw a oncentric circle with 5 sections.
  • Label the inside circle with the main concept from a current or upcoming unit (families, migration, etc.)
  • Put each skill in one section.
  • Give SPECIFIC examples of how students use the skills in the unit.
  • If you come up with new ideas add those in a different color.
  • Prepare to share with the group.
