Arch of Septimius Severus

  • Was built in 203 CE and is still standing today.
  • It commemorates the Roman victories over the Parthians in the final decade of the 2nd century CE .

Amphitheatre Nimes

  • Is a Roman amphitheater situated in the French city of Nimes
  • Built around 70 AD and remodelled in 1863 to serve as a bullring
  • It's 21 metres high and opened in 100 AD

Roman Collosseum

  • It fits 50,000 people in the stadium
  • The very first games were held in 80 AD by Emperor Titus

Aqueduct of Segovia

  • Is a Roman aqueduct and one of the most significant
  • One of the best preserved ancient monunents left on the Iberian Peninsula
  • it's 28 meters high
