PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Horse Experience

Reflection Activity

I’m Very Proud

of you all. Horses can be scary

How to start

  • Bust out your reflection muscle.
  • You can talk to others in your group about their thoughts.
  • Use the remaining slides as cues for discussions
  • Use the discussions as fodder for a written reflection
  • You can add doodles or sketches, images from your experience.
  • Try to explain/answer each question.

Your Energy

is mirrored by the horse

Growth is the opposite of the

Dunning Kruger Effect

The same action and expecting a different reaction is fruitless.

It’s not how you feel, it’s how you’re perceived.

The harder you work to remove uncertainty, the smaller your comfort zone.

When things are getting overwhelming, stop.

Be flexible rather than rigid.

Focus on what’s coming and not what’s past.

Assertive isn’t aggressive, and passivity is a choice.

For Today

  • 1 page - pdf
  • Thoughts based on some of my slides - select pertinent ones.
  • Evidence - anecdotal, examples
  • Reasoning - how it applies to your interactions with other species?
  • Due Thursday
