WHAT IS A HERO?
A is someone who is admired for courage, strength and outstanding achievements.
WHAT MAKES PHILIP A HERO?
Prince Philip is a hero because he displayed strength and courage when he fought to save Princess Aurora. This shows that he is noble and worthy of the "hero" title.
THE CALL TO ADVENTURE
Prince Philip was called to adventure when he met Aurora. After their first meeting, he desperately wanted to see her again. This led to his heroic adventure!
SUPER NATURAL HELPER
Prince Philip is aided by 3 fairies, Flora, Fauna
and Merryweather. These fairies help him escape from the evil Maleficent
TALISMAN OR SPECIAL
WEAPOND
Phil's sword, which was given to him by the fairies, enables him to cut through almost anything. His shield, which is also magical, is able to protect him from Maleficent's fire breath
CROSSING THE THRESHOLD
Prince Philip, in search of Aurora, gets captured by Maleficent and her pig minions
CROSSING THE THRESHOLD
Maleficent brings Prince Philip to her castle and locks him up inside.
TRIALS
Prince Philip faced many trials. He fought the evil Maleficent, battled the dragon and broke through the thorn forest!

ACHIEVEMENT OF GOAL
Once Prince Philip finally defeated Maleficent, he found Aurora and brought her back to life with a kiss.
RETURN HOME
Once reunited, Phil and Aurora returned to their kingdom and lived happily ever after!
