MUTUALISM

  • When a relation between two kinds of organisms benefits both of them
  • Ex: The yucca moth and the yucca tree, zebra and a oxpecker, the spider crab and algae.

PARASITISM

  • A relationship in which one kind organism lives on or in another organism and may harm that organism.
  • Ex:dogs and ticks, coiling dodder plant and a plant, mistletoe and a apple tree

COMMENSALISM

  • an association between two organisms in which one benefits and the other derives neither benefit nor harm.
  • Example whale and barnacles, cattle egrets and cattle, and a tree frog and a plant or tree.
