Marine West Coast:
Northwestern-Central Europe.
2 features:
A) Mild Temperatures
B) Coast climate leads to an excellent amount of rain.

Humid Continental:
Eastern Europe/Northern Europe.
Cool, dry winds from arctic. Less rain and snow the marine west coast. Supports many forests.

Mediterranean
Southern Europe:
Hot and dry summers. Little rainfall. Mild winters. Forests are rare and farmers have to be careful of drought.

Look at the map in your textbook on page 285. Find a country for each of the climate zones we have examined.
