  • Cut paper in a circle
  • Fold it like a D
  • Cut bottom right corner
  • Unfold
  • Make paper even with cap

  • Put dot in hole
  • Take paper off
  • Drill hole on dot
  • Repeat on other cap
  • Screw in screw with screwdriver

  • Tighten nut
  • Tie knots on both sides of string
  • Slip a knot on screw
  • Tug on other end of string to tighten
  • Tighten another nut

  • They are over 1,500 years old.
  • In the 1920's yo-yos became popular in the USA.
  • In 1985 astronauts took a yo-yo into space for the first time.
  • In space you can still do yo-yo tricks, but yo-yos behave differently because of physics and microgravity, meaning the absence of gravity.
