  • Discovery of radioactive element (1905-1921)

  • Cannizzaro Prize (1939)
  • Copernicus Prize (1941)
  • Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1944)
  • Max Plank Medal (1949)
  • Enrico Fermi Prize (1966)

The "Nobel Prize and Enrico Fermi Prize awards" are the only time that the non-American received. After atomic bomb in Japan, he campaigned against the use of nuclear weapon, this led him to nominated "Nobel Peace Prize". Between 1948 to 1960 he was founding Pres. of "Max Plank Society"
