THE BEATITUDES PROJECT

BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

• This beatitude means a lot. Like if someone doesn’t know God yet. He still offers them the treasures that come with heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

• This beatitude means if you are ever sad, God will always comfort you.
• If a loved one has died, don’t turn away from God. Turn to God, he will help you.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

• This means if you are humble your whole life, God will give you anything you want.
• If you are a nice and humble to everyone especially who are poor and don’t have money. God will give you everything you could ever want in heaven.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, FOR THEY SHALL BE SATISFIED.

• If you hunger and thirst for God and Jesus, God will satisfy you with the gifts of the Holy Spirt.
• If you have lost or ever turned away from God. He will bring you back to him and he will always love you!

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

• This means that if you show mercy to other people, mercy will be shown back to you.
• This can also mean that is you are nice and humble to to other people. More people will be nice and humble back to you.

BLESSED ARE THE PURE OF HEART, FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD.

• This means if you are nice and humble to everyone, you will see God.
• This could also mean if you are nice and humble to everyone. He will come into your life, then he will strengthen and make your life more powerful.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

• If you make peace, God will call you a child of God.
• This could also mean if you make peace in the world. It means that you will be in God’s family.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

• This means if you die for your faith, the kingdom of heaven will be theirs.
• This can also mean if you die for your faith. The kingdom of heaven is always available for us and always on the plate for us to take whenever we need it.
