• It’s like water and cool air.
• It’s really strong and its made out of clouds and water.
• It last at least 4 hours or more.
• Spins really fast some are hard.

WHERE DOES IT HAPPEN

• They mostly happen in the fields.
• Also happen in open areas.
• Can also happen in the city.
• Happen in tornado alley too.

WHAT MAKES IT DANGEROUS

• The storms and clouds form and make a tornado.
• The air makes a tornado spin really fast.
• The clouds,water,and air form in to a circle.

HOW DO WE PREDICT THIS KIND OF WEATHER

• We predict the weather by looking at the clouds and sky.
• The warm air meets the cold air.
• We can see the clouds forming into a circle and it starts spinning really fast.

HOW DO PEOPLE PROTECT THEMSELVES

• Go to you house and go to the basement or if you are in a car and you are close to your house drive as fast as you can.
• You can also hide in a closet or a heavy table.
• Stay inside not outside.
• Go to the lowest floor.
• If you are far away from your house go the closest building.

• Most tornadoes happen in an area nicknamed Tornado Alley.
