There was no way for us to plan ahead/prepare to teach remotely this school year. If we need to teach remotely for a period of time next year…

• What challenges did you face
• Is there anything we can plan or change to make improvements?
• What did you learn during remote learning that you can/will incorporate into your regular classroom instruction?

• If you had an opportunity at the beginning of the year to prep your students for remote learning, what would you teach them while still in the classroom?
• Is there anything we can provide parents to help them if we were to return to remote learning?

We don’t know what the expectations will be for the upcoming school year, but let’s talk about the impact of possible social distancing restrictions...

• How would it impact Morning Meeting routines? How can we build community within these possible restrictions?
• How will we provide students opportunities to collaborate, use Kagan Structures?
• How do we provide small group instruction and/or individual assistance to students?

• How could wearing a mask impact teaching/learning?
• What if students can’t share materials? What do we need to think about and consider?
• How do we ensure that our students do not feel isolated emotionally or socially by the restrictions?
