Sun

  • The Sun is in the center of the solar system. Heat and light energy are produced by nuclear reactions within the sun. Even though the sun is a average-sized star, one million earths in the sun. Without the light and heat from the sun there would be no life on the planet.
  • Heat and light energy are produced by nuclear reactions within the sun.

the sun layers

  • The first layer is the Corona.
  • The second is chromosphere.
  • The third is the convention zone.
  • The fourth is the radiation zone.
  • And the fifth is the Core

Stars

  • All of the stars seen without a telescope are the stars that belong to the milky way galaxy.
  • The closest star besides the sun is Roxima.
  • The brightest star in the night sky is sirius(the dog star).
  • The star sirius is 30 times brighter than the sun!

Milky Way

  • The Milky Way is the Galaxy that contains our solar system.
  • Its name is "Milky" from its dim glowing appearance.

  • The core temperature is 15,000,000 Celsius and 27,000,000 Fahrenheit.
  • The surface of the sun is nearly 10,000 degrees.

  • The nearest star to the earth is the sun believe it or not.
  • When a star falls a black hole is created.

black holes

  • When a star falls that's how a black hole is started.
  • Who knows what will happen when the sun will run out of gas!!
  • That'll be scary if the sin runs out if energy, but that wont happen for a long long time.

constellations

  • In the spring the constellations are, Bootes, the ice cream cone. Ursa Major, the big bear. Leo, the lion.
  • In the summer the constellations are Lyra, the Harp. Sagittarius, the Teapot. Scorpius, the scorpion.
  • The constellations in autumn are, Cassiopeia, the crown. Pegasus, the horse. Cygnus, the flying swan.
  • The constellations in the winter. Canis Major,the big dog. Orion, the hunter. Taurus, the bulls horn.

  • he brightest star in the night sky is Sirius.
  • Sirius had a companion star which was the first white dwarf star discovered.
  • A nick name for the star Sirius is, Dog Star.
