VILI- fingerlike projections covered with nutrient absorbing cells
flattened out the surface it'd be larger than a tennis court

LARGE INTESTINE
Whatever can't be absorbed pushes into large intestine
-Absorbs WATER!
-Stores, compacts, eliminates indigestible material
Rectum= end
Anus= opening

Pancreas - makes digestive (pancreatic) juices

Liver (1.5kg)- makes bile, breaks up fat ( 3/4 can be removed, grow back)

Gallbladder- stores bile & releases it
