HABITAT

  • Although Grizzly Bears live in many different habitats, most of us have seen the Grizzly that lives in the US plans, mostly in Wyoming.
  • Lots of flowing rivers full of fish for Grizzlies. to eat.
  • Lots of berry bushes for Grizzlies to eat.

NICHE

  • Grizzly bears play an important role in its ecosystems as seed dispersers and nutrient providers. Berry seeds pass through the bear unbroken and are able to geminate. Not only that, but they come with their own pile of fresh manure as fertilizer.
  • But this is only one way that the Grizzly helps its ecosystem.

POPULATIONS

  • Grizzlies do not live in extended family groups or join in hunts.
  • Limiting factors: Limited food supply, hunting

ENERGY

  • Omnivore
  • Wild fruits and berries, fish and big game animal.
  • Secondary consumer and sometimes tertiary consumer
