NUCLEOTIDES

A nucleotide is an organic molecule that is the building block of DNA and RNA.

Gene
the basic unit of heredity carried by the chromosome

Nucleus

  • the central and most important part of an object, movement, or group

ADENINE

  • a compound which is one of the four constituent bases of nucleic acids

Thiamine

a vitamin of the B complex, found in unrefined cereals, beans, and liver, a deficiency of which causes beriberi

cytosine

  • a compound that occurs in guano and fish scales, and is one of the four constituent bases of nucleic acids

a compound found in living tissue as a constituent base of DNA

Cell

  • The cell is the basic unit of life. Some organisms are made up of a single cell, like bacteria, while others are made up of trillions of cells. Human beings are made up of cells, too.

DEOXYRIBOSE

a five-carbon sugar molecule that helps form the phosphate backbone of DNA molecules

PHOSPHATE

a salt or ester of phosphoric acid

INTERNIT
Inheritance is the passing on of genetic traits from parents to their offspring, and these offspring get all the genetic information from their parents.
