  • The Father talks to the Actors and the Manager
  • and asks them to help them
  • and find them an author

  • They say they bring a drama
  • That live characters was how they were born to live
  • The Manager and the Actors burst out laughing
  • And the characters tell the drama that is in them all

  • The Mother had two men
  • and one had recently died
  • That's why she was dressed in black
  • and when they removed her veil she cried

  • and everyone around listened
  • Then as the drama progressed
  • The eyes of the listeners glistened

  • Cause I'd ruin the play
  • But it starts with the Mother's story
  • and why the Son has been away
