EARLY LIFE CONT.

  • Began working at his fathers candle shop

TEEN YEARS

  • Found work in Philadelphia in a print shop
  • Lodged in the home of John Read
  • Was encouraged to open his own print shop

LIFE IN LONDON

  • Was forced to find work
  • Attended theaters and festivals
  • Taught himself how to swim

LIFE BACK IN AMERICA

  • Returned to find Deborah married
  • Abandoned by her husband after wedding
  • Franklin held many jobs

ADULT LIFE

  • Began to grow a real estate business
  • Was elected Grand Master of the Mason's
  • Began to grow his entrepreneurialship

LEGACY

  • Elected in 1787 to represent Pennsylvania at the Constitutional Convention
  • Helped draft and ratify a new Constitution
