monumental architecture is large man made structures of stone on earth.
Man made structures such as the stonehenge,giza pyramids,hagia sophia.

The romans used the colosseum for gladiators to fight .
Gladiators didn't just fight each others but also animals such as lions and other fierce animals
The colosseum was like a huge stadium in the roman empire.

This temple was for human sacrifes and other things.
The temple was completed by 1497.
The height of the temple was 60m/197ft!
Built of stone and covered with stucco and polychrome paint.
Also the sacred area of the city called tenochtitlan.
