Eat Three Meals A Day
Don't skip any meals to try and lose weight, it will make you less healthy as your starving your body. Choose a wide variety of foods from each food group and choose suitable foods for you to eat.

Drinks
Choose water as your main drink. Try and avoid high sugar drinks such as energy drinks, cordial and soft drinks.

Choose high fibre, low GI carbohydrates.
You can simply change your low fibre diets to high by changing white bread to wholemeal bread, rice bubbles to porridge, etc.

Choose healthy, low fat snacks in between meals.
Limit takeaway foods, use low fat or reduced fat foods, avoid oily greasy foods and don't have too much rich dairy like butter, cream and mayonnaise.

Try and enjoy meals at the table with all electronics like television, iPads, iPods switched off.

Be physically active.
Limit your time on social network and screen time to no more than two hours a day.

Try and include at least 60 minutes of physical activity or active exercise each day. Choose a sport you like or try something new.

SLEEP

Everyone needs sleep every single night to keep their energy and body working.

People of different age groups need different amounts of sleep every night.
For example..

New babies-
New babies need about 14.5 hours sleep each day / night.

2 year olds - 13 hours
5 year olds - 11 hours
10 year olds - 8 hours
16 year olds - 9 hours
Adults - Around 7.5 hours

There are lots of reasons why you feel tired during the day.
Feeling down or unhappy can cause a not so great nights sleep. Sleep disorders like snoring or sleep walking can also affect your sleep patterns and your chance of a good nights sleep.
