A SMALL WOODEN CHAIR
A small wooden chair is a chosen idea because its durability can be fine, can function properly and shows my skill in my ability in design & technology, however could be difficult to manufacture.

A WOODEN CLOCK
A wooden clock was a chosen choice as it can be able to function, can look beautiful, and would be fun to manufacture. Although, there may be a problem to get the mechanical structure to work/functioning.

A SMALL WODDEN SURFBOARD
A small wooden surfboard was chosen as an idea as it can be easy to manufacture, can look pretty easily and could function as a key ring, however this wouldn't show my ability in Design & technology.

A BIRD HOUSE
A bird house was chosen as an idea because it can function properly, has good durability and can be view as clean, although in manufacturing this object, there could be problems such as wrong bird hole size.

AN ART STAND
An art stand is quite simple to manufacture, meaning it won't show much of my ability, but I chose this object as an idea because it is functional and has very good durability to hold a book.

A JEWELLERY BOX
A wooden jewellery box is a chosen item in my idea presentation because it functions properly and because of its beautiful and unique style and structure. This would be hard to manufacture as it does have little bits and pieces and different curves and edges.

A WOODEN CHOPPING BOARD
I chose a wooden chopping board as an idea, because it is easy to manufacture, has a strong durability and is very function for cooking or chopping fruits & vegetables, although a wooden chopping board is not showing my practical ability.

IDEA SURVEY
As shown in the survey, the object that got the most votes was the bird house.
My selected idea, is chosen to be a birdhouse, this idea was chosen as I can make the design of it pretty and clean. A birdhouse is very function and maintains a good durability. Even though the manufacture of a birdhouse may be a bit difficult, it still is able to show my ability in skill. I think the birdhouse will be a fun but challenging project. In addition to the birdhouse being able to do the above, it was also the most selected in the survey.
