PRESENTATION OUTLINE
NATIONAL RECOVERY ADMINISTRATION (NRA)
THE NRA WAS ESTABLISHED ON JUNE 16,1933
The NRA was created to eliminate competition by bringing industry, labor and government together to set prices and have codes of "fair practices."
This program affected workers because they only earned what was fair, like low wages and hours . There was no benefits because agencies got involved and stopped setting prices.
The NRA was successful at first, but then the NRA boards drafted codes for their interest instead of the small competitors.
The NRA isn't around today because people declared that the ruling of it broke the separation of power under the United States Constitution.
