• Independent variable: launch angle
• Dependent variable: I will be measuring the distance
• Controlled variable: The same spot at the starting line

ANGLES

• 135 degree angle
• 150 degree angle
• 120 degree angle

DISTANCE

• I will make the length 25 feet the same size as the tape measure I will be using

STANDING IN SAME SPOT

• I will put something sturdy around my catapult with bricks so it won’t move around and mess up my data

MEASURING

• I will have someone watching closely to see where the ping pong ball hits the ground
