FIRE IS A GOOD THING

At least Spongebob and Patrick think so

SAFETY

Never play around a fire
Always stop drop and roll if you catch fire
Keep a safe distance away from a fire
Never leave a fire unattended

FIRE PLACES

Fire places are a beautiful way to heat your house
Always have a screen door between the hearth and the outside
Don't get too close to the fire place
Great for a homey feel during the holidays

OTHER FIRE BASED HEATING SYSTEMS

Pellet stoves are great as well
So are masonry heaters

COOKING WITH FIRE

Cooking with fire is a great way to cook meat and vegetables
At 130-140 degrees fat in meat starts to melt
The melted fat is where meat gets most of its flavor
Grilling is also good for cooking vegetables
You can get the vegetables a little burnt for a crispy taste

WILDFIRES

Although wildfires seem bad they are often used for good
Often times farmers set fires to they're fields after the crops come in
It burns up weaker trees so you can see stumps and remove them
Burning also reduces pest invasion
It gets rid of the seeds that produce weeds
