OTHER FIRE BASED HEATING SYSTEMS

  • Pellet stoves are great as well
  • So are masonry heaters

COOKING WITH FIRE

  • Cooking with fire is a great way to cook meat and vegetables
  • At 130-140 degrees fat in meat starts to melt
  • The melted fat is where meat gets most of its flavor
  • Grilling is also good for cooking vegetables
  • You can get the vegetables a little burnt for a crispy taste

WILDFIRES

  • Although wildfires seem bad they are often used for good
  • Often times farmers set fires to they're fields after the crops come in
  • It burns up weaker trees so you can see stumps and remove them
  • Burning also reduces pest invasion
  • It gets rid of the seeds that produce weeds
