2.
THE SUN
The sun is about 4.6 billion years old
The sun and its atmosphere are divided into several different layers and zones
They are the core, radiative zone, and the convective zone.
The convective zone makes up 66% of the Suns volume.
The strength of the Suns magnetic field is 2 times stronger than earths

3.
MERCURY
Mercurials is the smallest planet on our solar system and is closest to the sun
It completes one orbit around the sun in about 88 earth days which is much faster than any other planet.
Mercury's surface temperature can reach about 840 degrees F.
Mercury is slightly larger than the moon
About 4 billion years ago an asteroid about 60 miles wide hit Mercury with an impact equal to 1 trillion megaton bombs
Is the closest to the sun

4.
VENUS
Venus and Earth are often called twins because they are similar in size.
Venus takes 24 Earth days to rotate on its axis by far the slowest planet
Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system at about 900 degrees Fahrenheit
Sulfur clouds cover venues surface
Venus has zero moons

8.
SATURN
The jewel of our solar system
Is in sixth place
Can easily be seen in the night
Is the very last planet discovered
Obviously has rings

9.
URANUS
Also has rings
Is in seventh place
Has a core of ice and rock
84 days on earth is equal to one year on uranus

NEPTUNE
Has the second largest gravity
Has a ring
Is in eighth place
Is the coldest planet
164.5 earth years is equal to one year on Neptune

PLUTO
Was my favorite planet
1/3 water
Has 5 moons
Was renamed a dwarf planet in 2006
Was named by a little girl. She asked her grandfather to name it Pluto while he was studying the planet
