Through creating my lesson, I realize that everything that I do is naturally very scaffolded. I like to start basic and work my way up. This means that even when I work on a co-constructed success criteria, I like it to be gradual and ongoing with the students. I do this by adding on and asking questions like "now, do you think we can...?". This progresson makes the goalposts feel less intimidating and more like bonus challenges. It may not be explicit, but it accomplishes the same goal.
