  • fined $2.5 million by the NBA after recordings of him making racist comments were made public.
  • Now it may breach his contract, and what he said is disgraceful.
  • it still is a private conversation and freedom of speech is one of our few dwindiling rights as americans.

  • Martin Luther king was a public speaker speaking his mind
  • He spoke freely and was not only arrested but shot and killed
  • There were many others during his time that were punished listening to him
  • Not only were people arrested but sprayed with fire hoses and beaten

  • Rosa Parks was punished for doing what she believed was right and just sitting on a bus
  • She was shunned and helped thrive the civil rights movement she is still remembered to this day for her achievement /
  • She was arrested for acting freely and because she was African American
