Scientific method

A method of research in which a problem is identified relevant data are gathered. A hypothesis is formulated from these data and the hypothesis is imperially tested

Observation

When you use one or more senses

Qualitative data

Data that approximates or characterizes but does not measure the attributes characteristics properties.

Qua-native data

Information

Hypothesis

A hypothesis is and educated guess.

Experiment

A scientific procedure undertaken to make a discovery test a hypothesis or demonstrate a know fact.

Independent variable

A variable that is changed during a scientific experiment.

Dependent variable

What is measured during the investigation as the independent variable is changed.

Constant

Happening again and again

Control

To verify or regulate a scientific experiment by conducting a parallel experiment or by comparing with another standard.

Conclusion

The end or close. Final part.

Model

Scientific model can be material, visual, mathematical, or computational or often used in a construction scientific theory.

Theory

A scientific theory is a well sí stained explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is acquired through the scientific method and repeatedly confirmed through observation.

Scientific law

A phenomenon of nature that has been proven to invariably occur whenever certain conditions sexist or met. Also called natural law.

Pure research

Research carried out for the purpose of better understanding fundamental concepts within a scientific field, rather than in search of a particular commercial goal.

Applied research

Refers to a scientific study and research that seeks to solve practical problems.

Technology

The use of scientific knowledge to solve practical problems, especially in industry and commerce.
