MOVEMENT

  • Bobcats have 4 legs.
  • There claws are retractable so that they can climb trees.

REProduction

  • Bobcats have live birth.
  • Bobcats can have 2 to 3 kittens at a time.

SENSITIVITY

  • The pupils of the eyes are elliptical in bright light but nearly round in dim light.
  • Bobcats do not hibarnate in the winter.

NUTRITION

  • Bobcats eat rabits,mice, rats,squirrels,deer,and domestice cats.
  • They also eat wild turkeys and quail.

Excretion

  • Bobcats exhale carbon dioxide.
  • Bobcat and there dens have a very strong odor.

Respiration

  • Bobcats have lungs not gills.

Growth

  • For bobcats mating begins in December.
  • Bobcats litters are born after 50 to 70 days.
  • The litters are born mostly in May and June.
