PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MEAN

  • The average
  • Calculated by adding together all the data values then dividing by the number of data points

MEDIAN

  • The data value in the middle
  • Calculating by listing the data values from least to greatest then find the value in the middle

MODE

  • The data value there is the most of

RANGE

  • The difference between the least and the greatest value

CONCLUSION

  • A paragraph stating what you learn by studying your collection of data

FORCE

  • Simply a push or pull

GRAVITY

  • A force that pulls objects toward each other

FRICTION

  • A force that slows down the movement of a sliding object

SPEED

  • How fast an object is moving
  • Calculated by speed= distance traveled over the time it took

POTENTIAL ENERGY

  • Stored energy
  • Objects have potential energy based on their position
  • When objects have the ability to move but are at rest and the energy has not yet been released, they have potential energy

KINETIC ENERGY

  • The energy of motion
  • The heavier an object is the faster it moves the more kinetic energy it has

INERTIA

  • And objects desire to remain doing what it’s already doing
