Sectionalism was the fact that the south and north were two different section that did different things
Tariffs were a cause because the tariffs effected the south more than the north
State's rights was a cause because states felt like if it wasn't in the constitution it was there choice and the federal government couldn't change that
Slavery was a cause because the south felt like they needed it and the North was against it because they had no use for slaves
Sam Houston was kicked out of Office
Cotton production went down
Families were torn apart.
A battle was fought in Galveston to stop Union troops
The union ships were defeated with canons because the confederates basically played dead until the ships got close enough
The final land battle fought in civil war that was fought by confederates that didn't believe and/or want the war to be over
