What is Art?

Art is where you draw something with crayon, marker, pencil, or colored pencil and you can add crafts to it.

The Colors

  • Kind of colors are: Primary, secondary, tertiary, and neutral.
  • The primary colors are red, yellow, and blue.
  • Some secondary colors are green, orange, and purple.
  • Tertiary colors are 3 colors mixed together and neutral colors are pink, brown, gray, and black.

Things you can use to make art

Crayons, pencils/colored pencils, scissors, markers, glue, tape, pipe cleaners, and many other  things

Art Media

You can make art on paper, white boards, easels/canvas, computers, and glass.

Famous artists

  • Some artists are: Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Deborah Butterfield, and Vincent van Gogh.
  • Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera were married and painted pictures of each other. Frida Kahlo was known to make self-portraits and Diego Rivera was known to make murals.

I like art because I like looking at the pictures and thinking about all my hard work that I got done.
