I was a meat and cheese lover just like most people until I made a conscious connection to the food on my plate and the animals I admire, and the impact to my health. But our beliefs around food have been fed to us by someone we know who were also influenced by those industries – we have lost the ability to make our own informed decision about what to eat.

Our human minds resist change, but as human animals – we ADAPT to change rather well when we are CLEAR on why we are doing it and without consternation.
“What about HUMANE, organic, grass fed, free range, non-GMO, wild caught, cage-free…yada yada.” That is clever marketing that we buy into – because no one wants to feel like we are are cruel or unhealthy. They are still cruel and unhealthy, therefor unnecessary.
Ask yourself “is this food nutritious and free from harm?”
What we’ve learned so far is we need to be crystal clear on our WHY for leaving animal products off our plate, shift our MINDSET to overcome old habits, and be ACCOUNTABLE to our food decisions and how it impacts others.
